Dr. Cheryl L. Sington (Director/Owner) Cheryl has been committed to dance and theater for the majority of her life. Although her career path has taken many turns her passion and love for the art has never wavered. That is why today she has opened The Dance Warehouse and developed Command Performance Competition Team. Her life long goal has been to have a place that offers the many diverse tracks of classes similar to the ones followed in NYC and LA., so that all types of classes and styles are included. Cheryl has been fortunate enough to dance professionally throughout the United States, Canada and Europe and has studied with world renowned choreographers, teachers, artists and directors such as John Landis, Mel Brooks, Jaime Rogers, Michael Jackson, Natalie Cole, Joe Tremaine, Doug Caldwell, just to name a few. She has spent the majority of the last 15 years as a director, choreographer and judge across the US and abroad. She teaches master classes in jazz, tap, lyrical, strengthening and core training, musical theater and acting. She has also worked for CBS, ABC, NBC, appeared in commercials, television and film and video. Some of her previous roles were: Thriller, Days of our Lives, Young and the Restless, Roseanne, Arista, MGM, Metro-Goldwyn, Coca Cola, Pantene, Country Time Lemonade, Fame (series), HBO, Kent State, History of the World Part 1, and many other roles. She currently resides in Fort Myers with her husband and daughter and continues to train and work with the top people in the industry so that she is able to share the knowledge with her students.
